Description: Our client is seeking an Oracle Applications DBA
specializing in Performance Tuning. The candidate will work with the
Data Administrators and Developers to implement database changes/
fixes. This is the perfect opportunity for the right candidate.

Skills:
The skills, experience, and knowledge required to be considered for
this position include:
* Performance tuning skills, database as well as SQL and PL/SQL tuning
(wait events, tkprof, CBO, and 9i DB tuning)
* Tuning of very large 11i SQLs (multi-page SQLs)
* Concurrent manager tuning
* Database tuning
* Production experience in handling database hangs and memory issues
* Experience in tuning OS for Oracle
* Experience with SANs, preferably EMC products
* Must exhibit expert skills in performance tuning including both
query and server optimization
* Experience with Disaster Recovery scenarios
